Funtastic Reading
Funtastic Reading is a free, once-a-week drop in class led by HPAC staff at the HPAC Early Childhood Library.
Each week, children and their families bond together through storytelling and “read-alouds” focused on building vocabulary, listening, and circle time. Led by the HPAC early childhood team, during this time together, families empower their children learn to love books and reading in a playful, fun and safe environment.
The program, which is open to children up to age four and families may attend as many sessions as they choose. This program year, classes are offered online every Friday afternoon from 12pm - 1pm. In addition, for this program year, the Funtastic Reading program will invite families from the Advanced Family School Skills program to join and participate in the reading program.
