Postsecondary Support

Formulario de inscripción en Español

The Postsecondary Success Program aims to increase the number of Hunts Point students persisting through—and graduating from—college.

The Postsecondary Success Program provides year-round support services to Hunts Point college students, particularly community students, through access to a community-based college advisor, peer mentors, and a network of community students. In partnership with Rocking the Boat and St. Ignatius School, our College Advisor provides mentoring and coaching to help students understand the college applications process, financial aid application, and any issues or challenges that impact college success. The program also matches commuter students with peer mentors who are also from the Hunts Point neighborhood and are currently attending or have recently graduated from college to provide additional college support.

Postsecondary Success

The Postsecondary Success program consists of peer mentoring and holistic support such as college advisement, financial literacy and career development to facilitate the achievement of post-secondary success.
