Ballet in The Bronx

Ballet in The Bronx

Ballet in the Bronx is dedicated to providing a holistic, rigorous, and culturally relevant dance experience for children in Hunts Point. 2nd through 6th grade scholars learn the fundamentals of ballet, modern dance, and human anatomy to understand the basics of form, function, and movement.

Scholars are taught by professional dance instructors from the Tyler Brown Dance Company, and classes occur three days a week from 2:30-5:30pm during the school year. Scholars have two showcase performances for the community, one in December and one in June.

Highlights from our summer ballet classes, instructed by Arianna Stendardo of the Tyler Brown Dance Center.
